Company interview studio

Five senior software-engineering rehearsals. Start with the room, then work through each company's coding bench, design board, and a timed mock. Product roles are the default; where public evidence is thinner, the exercises are explicitly product-inspired, not leaked interview questions.

FIELD NOTES / SEPTEMBER 2026

Learn the shape of the conversation. Then draw the boxes, state an invariant, write the smallest correct thing, and defend what happens when the requirement changes.

How the room feels

This is a qualitative preparation map, not a measured difficulty ranking. “Pressure” means the kind of decisions worth rehearsing; team, level, interviewer, and loop differ. Do not infer a company-wide question frequency from a few internet reports.

The exercise, not the rumor

Each company page contains eight coding drills and five design briefs. They are a curated practice bank, not a list of “most-asked” questions: public reports cannot support a company-wide frequency claim. A worked mock then models clarifying questions, expected values, failures, a box diagram, and harder follow-ups. Use the left contents or simply Next to read them in sequence.

Choose one product domain, then one exercise. For a coding session, return the exact stated values and explain the invariant. For an architecture session, draw one user action from acceptance to its durable effect, then handle the changed requirement. The worked mock on each page demonstrates that progression. These are alternative practice sessions, not thirteen tasks to complete in one sitting.

Evidence policy. Checked 22 September 2026. Official guidance can establish a published format, not your team's exact loop. Self-reports are dated anecdotes, not verified transcripts. Original drills are labeled as such. Ask your recruiter for role, round, allowed AI tools, language, design focus, and whether you may use a whiteboard; these details may change.

The illustrated brand marks are unofficial visual cues; this independent guide is not affiliated with or endorsed by the companies.

The OpenAI interview guide and Meta full-loop guide establish only their respective published guidance. A Meta E5 infra candidate account and an anonymized Databricks candidate account are lower-confidence examples; the latter page edits and summarizes reports. Reddit's product and Observe's product inform simulations, not interview-format claims.
